Exploding Balloon Key
The key was made with standard Aluminium Rod and we covered the rod with Gun Powder Tape and attached the fuses.
The frame & balloons were set to fire after a professional golfer hit a ball through the hole in the key. Click to watch the video.

- World Birmingham Half Marathon
We built 7 giant balloon arches to mark the start of The Birmingham World half marathon. 5 Crew started at 12 midnight and finished at 6am on the Sunday morning. We used 16" balloons for better buoyancy in bad weather conditions. The balloons were attached to 500lb line to withstand heavy wind conditions.

3 Years of 'Wicked' at the Apollo Theatre, Victoria, London
After we marked the 2000th show last year 'Wicked' called us in again to celebrate 3 years. We rigged a 2000 balloon drop over the theatre crowd to get that WOW factor.

Man Lift
We inflated 200 x 36" helium filled balloons to lift this man for Loaded Magazine. The guy was wearing a harness and we attached the balloons in groups of 10 until he began to float. He was safely tethered to the ground whilst the magazine got their shots.
As it is not legal for balloons over 12" to be released we burst them after the photo shoot. |
